Data Migration Lead

Currently, we are looking for Data Migration Lead. We are supporting Employment Contract or B2B, depending on your preferences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing end-to-end migration solutions using designated tools, for example, Talend – an open-source platform dedicated to data integration, data management, data quality, enterprise application integration, and Big Data
• Active participation in planning, analysis, and ensuring that data migration related best practices are applied where necessary
• Leading team of developers
• Support and assistance for team members

REQUIREMENTS

• Solid understanding of data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and data reconciliation processes
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Deep understanding of database fundamentals
• Excellent data modeling skills
• Excellent knowledge of SQL
• Excellent familiarity with at least one ETL tool
• Good knowledge of Talend
• Very good skills in planning, defining strategy, executing and documenting data migration process according to project requirements
• Ability to document and troubleshoot problems
• Experience in working with large datasets
• Very good communication in English
• Very good understanding of Salesforce Platform
• Salesforce query performance tuning skills
• Experience in working with cloud-focused architectures
• Ability to work with APIs
• Java basics
• Good customer facing skills
• Ability to conduct workshops with clients
• Experience in leading team of developers and other data migration experts

NICE TO HAVE

• Understanding of what data governance is, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts
• Ability to code and automate tasks
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Ability to write scripts in any of Node.js / PHP / Python etc. in order to extract data from different systems through the APIs
